We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

3. Service Description

watt-outlook provides professional appliance repair and maintenance services for household appliances including, but not limited to:

  • Washing machines
  • Refrigerators and freezers
  • Ovens and cookers
  • Dishwashers
  • Tumble dryers

4. Service Bookings

4.1 Booking Process

Service bookings are made through our online form or by email. A booking is confirmed only when you receive written confirmation from us via email.

4.2 Availability

Service appointments are subject to availability. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred date and time but cannot guarantee specific slots.

4.3 Service Area

Our services are available within Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire, and surrounding areas within 40 miles of Manchester M1 4EQ.

5. Pricing and Payment

5.1 Service Prices

Prices displayed on our website are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice, but confirmed bookings will honor the price quoted at the time of booking.

5.2 Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of the service. We accept cash, bank transfer, and major credit/debit cards.

5.3 Additional Costs

If additional parts or work are required beyond the initial quote, we will inform you of the additional costs before proceeding. You have the right to decline additional work.

5.4 Diagnostic Fee

If we determine that your appliance cannot be repaired economically, you will be charged only for the diagnostic visit (£35).

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

6.1 Customer Cancellation

You may cancel or reschedule your appointment by contacting us at least 24 hours before the scheduled time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may incur a £25 cancellation fee.

6.2 Our Cancellation Rights

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments in cases of emergency, technician illness, or circumstances beyond our control. We will notify you as soon as possible and offer alternative dates.

7. Service Warranty

7.1 Workmanship Guarantee

All repairs are guaranteed for 90 days from the date of service. If the same issue recurs within this period due to our workmanship, we will return and fix it at no additional charge.

7.2 Parts Warranty

Replacement parts carry a 90-day warranty. Defective parts will be replaced free of charge within this period.

7.3 Warranty Exclusions

Our warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or neglect
  • Issues unrelated to the original repair
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Repairs or modifications performed by third parties after our service

8. Liability and Disclaimers

8.1 Service Limitations

While we make every effort to repair appliances effectively, we cannot guarantee that all appliances can be repaired. Some appliances may be beyond economical repair.

8.2 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claims arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.

8.3 No Liability For

We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
  • Data loss or corruption
  • Damage to property not directly caused by our negligence

8.4 Insurance

We maintain public liability insurance as required by law. Claims for property damage caused by our negligence should be directed to our insurance provider.

9. Customer Obligations

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the appliance and the issue
  • Ensure safe access to the appliance
  • Clear the area around the appliance before our arrival
  • Be present or have an authorized representative present during the service
  • Follow any care instructions provided after the repair
  • Make payment in full upon completion of the service

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the watt-outlook website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of watt-outlook or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on our website without our express written permission.

11. Website Use
